2 Drawer Lateral File Cabinet with Lock - Secure, Spacious Steel Filing Cabinet for Home Office, Letter/Legal/F4/A4 Files

The item was delivered right on time. The "pro" (Tiara) who came for the assembly could not quite align the components of the filing cabinet for it to lock. So we accepted she "fixed" it for it to lock. Upon completion here was the result. Inacceptable. We thought the item was defective and it was not her fault. Wayfair sent a replacement without any hesitation and rescheduled the pro assembly. Just by chance, this morning, I wanted to drag the empty box to recycling when this little package fell of. So now I am sure of the reason why the alignment could be done: she left one set of screws in the box. So, not only didn't she double checked if the box was empty but she did not read the instructions and/or check the pieces when the manual clearly states 2 PIECES. Since we found the second one by accident, it seems that the item was ok but the so-called "pro" did not do a proper job. One star not for the item itself but for the installation fiasco.

I’m pleased with my double file cabinet. The video tutorial was very helpful in guiding me through the installation process. Initially, I was a bit taken aback by the number of parts involved, but I managed to complete the assembly within an hour. The lock is a convenient feature, and after adding files to the cabinet, it felt more sturdy.

So happy with this lateral file. It is the perfect size for my home office. Assembly was a little bit of a challenge, working with screws in a very tight space, but went together in a little over 2 hours. Drawers open and close smoothly. I love that it has a lock. The finish is smooth and unblemished. All in all very pleased. Only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 star was the assembly and the metal is a little thin. I will reserve judgement on its sturdiness until I’ve had a chance to transfer my files and use it for a while.

This really is a very spacious file cabinet. It looks clean and sleek. It’s nice and wide, operates very smoothly and is sturdy. My printer will fit perfectly on top of it too. If you have the really long legal sized documents you need this. I would like the dividers to be a little more secure. It also locks and has 2 keys. Must have this for a small home office.

Super easy to assemble. Was able to do in less than 20 minutes. Very sturdy and the ability to lock is excellent!

The drawers aren't as sturdy as I expected for the price, but it's still a good quality. This rare depth (smaller than the average cabinet) fits my office perfectly.

It is very nice looking and is perfect for our home office. It was complicated to assemble. There was a broken piece in it that we had to do a work around on. Not everyone would be able to do this.

Not what I had expected. It is a metal filing cabinet however, you have to put it together. It is not for an office not sturdy I would have given it a two but it did have great instructions a video in fact that was easy to follow. Not some thing I would recommend if you had heavy files as the filing drawer itself is very flimsy.
