Bernhard 5-piece Counter Height Dining Set

Love this dining set! A little difficult set up because the instructions had a mistake that I caught. Instructions say you do not need a drill, however, you definitely do to screw the bottom cushions on each chair! It was difficult even with a drill. Overall, perfect for my apartment chairs are comfortable.

I just got it, so I can't verify it's durability. It's assembled, (not too difficult) it seems to be VERRY sturdy, it's beautiful, the top may scratch eaisely, but I haven't had it long enough to really say. I would have preferred a square table, but that wasn't offered when I was ordering, darn. Personally, I don't find the chairs very comfortable, but that's just me. (My posture requires a chair not to be at exactly 90 degrees.)

This dining set fits in our eating area well, and looks nice. It was not difficult to put together, and the boxes arrived without damage and all parts. It's not a high quality item, but is good if cost is a major consideration.

I unfortunately missed the 30-day return policy on this because the flood renovations on my home didn’t finish on time and I had no where to set it up ahead of time. This is poorly made, the screw holes are too small for many of the screws making it incredibly hard to screw in without striping the screw head. The picture instructions show the use of screws in places there weren’t enough of the particular size for. The table top feels cheap and unfortunately found out just how cheap it was while assembling. The top ended up completely scratched despite laying down thick card board paper. Incredibly disappointed given the price I paid for it. I do not recommend.

I love this table. The chairs were kind of hard to put together on the final assembly part (with the screws) It is sturdy and doesn’t wobble or anything. It’s a really good height as well. The chairs or table itself do not feel fragile or cheap.

Nice and sturdy table, great for a smaller apartment!

Bought the gray/black set - the picture of the table looks more black & white marble, but the table actually has a more brownish tone to it, so I was a little disappointed in that. The legs of the chairs and table also look like a very dark brown color, but the chair backs/seats are gray (which is what I wanted). I would think if you want a gray/black set, the chair and table legs should be black and I wish the table top had more black in it. Bought some gray/black placements to hide some of the table so you don't see so much brown. We just redid our whole kitchen and it's gray and black, so the brown doesn't really match. Also, my husband is in construction so is very capable of putting things together. The chairs weren't very easy to figure out because the instructions weren't clear. Once the 1st one went together, the other 3 were easier.

Absolutely LOVE! it is so sturdy, and the marble top is more beautiful than the picture, thicker than i thought it would be. Seats require a drill so that was disappointing and assembly instructions aren't clear at all, but overall easy set up and exactly what we were wanting for a great price. very happy :)

Just a little smaller than what I expected but other than that, it's a beautiful table.
