My warning to you DO NOT ORDER THIS SOFA at this price, order the cheaper one because thats what you’ll get anyway.
We ordered this sofa, there was a lot of deliberation about this sofa as it was 2799.99 and there was one exactly the same (same photos and everything) for 1959.00
After chatting with an agent via the app, he informed me that the only difference is that the more expensive one is made in Germany, and the cheaper one is made in China.
We decided to purchase the more expensive one made in Germany.
Today the sofa arrived and every single one of the 6 boxes says “MADE IN CHINA”
You can imagine my frustration.
We opened one box to make sure and of course the piece inside also says “Made in China”
Long story short, we have now paid 800 more for the Chinese sofa.
I got in touch with Wayfair and after some back and forth, they gave me 2 options return the sofa, get a full refund and then order it again at the cheaper price or keep the sofa and the best they can do is offer a 25 refund.
To avoid the hassle we decided to keep the sofa but have now paid 42 more for it!! This was a pretty disappointing outcome from Wayfair, to not even refund the difference!
As for the sofa itself, I was disappointed that the colour is nowhere near what it looks like on the photos, it’s not as dark however it’s still a very nice green. The fabric is sofa and cosy but you’ll definitely need some extra throw pillows.
The legs are only 2 inches, so it’s quite low and a bit of a struggle to get out of. We’ve just ordered some taller legs
