Ossy Solid Wood Classic Bookcase

Bookcase arrived in terrible condition. Holes on the delivery box and bookcase smells like toxic chemicals (recently painted smell too) and has damage on the bookshelf . Looks like someone beat it with a crowbar MANUFACTURERS RESPONSE “The holes are MT screw holes. All of our units will have this as that is how we screw the wood pieces together when building the bookcases. There is nothing wrong with the unit, that is just how it is made. Since this piece is made to order, we build and finish the unit right after it is ordered so the smell can be there for up to 30 days. Please keep the unit empty and in a cool environment to help eliminate the smell. You can also use a 31 ratio of vinegar and water to wipe the unit down which can also help with the odor.”

I bought this shelf unit unfinished. It took a while (about a week, allowing for drying time between coats of stain and varnish) but I’m happy with the result!

Arrived today. Well packed, solid wood except the back panels, fully assembled and solidly built . Definitely worth the money, made in USA! I’m totally satisfied

The items came delivered and well packaged. The only issue I had was some of the shelves where they installed the screws warped and broke through the wood. It’s an easy fix to correct it, but for the amount I paid, the assembly quality is lacking

Our new bookcase just arrived in perfect condition! It's beautifully (and fully!) constructed, and all surfaces, including edges, are thoroughly sanded smooth. We previously had an overflowing laundry basket of bedtime books spilling out onto the floor, but now we have ample storage for about twice as many books. Our 3 year old toddler is comfortably able to reach books on the top shelf of the 40" tall bookcase as positioned, but all shelves are adjustable as needed. We love this piece and are immediately considering purchasing several more. Such a great piece of all wood furniture, made lovingly in Ohio! Get one while they last.
