Only the top looks solid wood everything else is chip board. The drawers don’t line up and they didn’t pre- drill the screw holes so the cheap chip board separated. In my opinion this piece of furniture belongs in the garbage. The top twist when you open it.

Directions were only pictures and not very clear. It says it’s solid wood but it’s particle board. There were some chips in the finish but they were on the inside.

Not hard to put together, but I’m not convinced of the longevity. It seems like the screws don’t have much to grab on to for the drawers and the lifting mechanism.

Colour chosen was black and darker in person than it looked online which was perfect. Storage is spacious and meets my needs. Extraneous papers and such are now off the table. I enjoy the lift top where my laptop, coffee and remote are a permanent fixture. Definitely recommend this seller.
