This is a very nice and economical headboard. I really liked the color and style, so I kept it and made adjustments, even though it didnt fit my king size adjustable Sleep Number bed. I ended up simply placing the headboard behind the bed. Because my Sleep Number mattress sits upon a frame already, I did not need to use the parts included for a frame that attaches to the headboard. Instead, I unscrewed the pieces from behind the side panels and then used Alien Tape to affix them to my existing bedframe. This bed was very easy to build. I built it by myself with maybe an hour a little bit more than an hour. The instructions will clear on how to use all the materials that they packed into the back of the headboard. The only thing that wasn’t clear was where to put the slats when you were adding that in but again you can use your best judgment of where to add in the screws. I really love this bed frame. It is sturdy. Strong, and easy to assemble. It even came with a ratcheting tool which made assembly much faster. I have never encountered this device in ready to assemble furniture. Bravo! My only issue is the placement of the leg in the middle of each sideboard. I kept bashing my foot. I know I should be aware,but I kept doing it over and over. Finally, I replaced the leg with a length of lumber which I stained and placed 8 in inside the sideboard. Problem solved!. David M. FL.
