Demelza 49'' Solid Wood Console Table

Terrible! Came with places around the edge of the top of the table that looks like the paint is already wearing off. If you stand back and look at the top in the light, it looks luke a bunch of smeared on milk stains. There is places all over it which scream poor workmanship. There is rough, ding places all on the bottom around the legs. One foot of the leg looks like its been hit by a vacuum cleaner. Now, I know that a table will eventually get bumped and scratched but you shouldn't receive a brand new piece in this shape with this many defects that you've paid over $700 for. I've always liked wayfair but this go around has just about done me in. I've already had to pay over $100 sending rugs back to them. I sure hope they waive shipping on items they send you that are junk! In addition, its suppose to be a 49" table. It is only 47.5" DO NOT BUY THIS TABLE UNLESS YOU DONT CARE ABOUT THE EFFORT PUT IN TO MAKING IT!!! MY CHEAP TABLES I'VE BOUGHT FROM THEM IS BETTER! Love this console table. It was exactly what I was looking for. Very well made. Highly recommend.

Ordered red and thought this would be distressed. Little disappointed that not but otherwise would give 5 stars.

I purchased this console table in Yellow. This purchase was a bit of a gamble, as there were no provided photos of the table completed in this color, and very few of the table at all. But, it seemed like the color was what I was looking for, so I took the risk. I am generally happy with the product. Pros - - The yellow color in the photo swatch is pretty accurate. The table I received is perhaps just a hair darker, but in the same tone (the tone was what I was trying to match the most). - The size is exactly what I was looking for to display a sculpture made by my husband. - The table arrived assembled, and was packaged in a thoughtful way, to try and limit any shipping damage. - I also really like that it is made in the USA from solid wood. Cons - - The table does have a few minor imperfections. Not enough to send it back, but more than it should given the price. - The back of the table is finished with a bead-board style, which is nice, but since most console tables are up against something, it is somewhat wasted. I really wish that they had instead added that bead-board look to the drawer fronts, as it would have provided some much needed style to an otherwise pretty simple design. - The drawers are not on tracks, so they do not open and close very smoothly. Not a deal breaker for me, but something to consider. Also, the drawer pulls were kind of silly - simple wood knobs in the same color as the table. Honestly, they looked really cheap and almost childish, at least in the yellow color, and were immediately replaced with something nicer. (On the bright side, I was able to take the painted knob to a paint store for a color match - now I have small container of paint made up in the exact same color, in case I ever need to touch it up!) Overall, I am happy with the piece, and it is nice enough that I am willing to either overlook a few imperfections or make adjustments to the piece, rather than send it back.
