Huge mistake ordering furniture from Wayfair. I called and confirmed the desk would come assembled, prior to ordering. The desk arrived quickly but it was unassembled, Wayfair's customer service did assist me with this first issue. Based on Wayfair's recommendation, I booked assembly with Angi through Wayfair's website it seemed so convenient, little did I know. The guy from Angi came today to assemble the desk, I was excited because my current desk is about to collapse at any moment. The guy, from Angi, starts organizing the parts to assemble the desk, and noticed parts were missing from the box. I immediately called Wayfair and they told me I would need to contact the company that made the desk to request the missing parts. Vexed, I requested Wayfair to take the desk back they declined. On top of that since the desk couldn't be assembled I called and requested a refund from Angi. The wait time was approximately 30 minutes, the first time. Once I got through, the Angi rep told me to request and wait for the parts and rebook their service, this was after explaining the situation with Wayfair. It gets worse, even though I paid with a credit card, Angi requires that I complete a form with a copy of the invoice to be sent through their link, which they sent to me via email. I asked for a manager and couldn't be transferred to one, they said it could take up 48 hours for a manager to speak with me to address my concerns. If my request for a refund is approved I'll have to wait 3 -5 weeks for a CHECK to be sent by mail, very antiquated processing. Save yourself the headache, order curtains, or other items you can send back easily by mail, this was a nightmare. After completing the form, there was no email confirmation, so I called Angi to confirm. The wait time was supposed to be 20 minutes, I waited 1 hour 15 minutes to speak to someone. They couldn't confirm they received my refund request, and basically told me I would need to call back after 48 hours to see if it has been received. I feel bad for complaining but hopefully this will help someone before they place an order.
