Perdue 81.5" Velvet Square Arm Convertible Sofa

I’ve had this sofa for about 5 years now. The left side is starting to wear down from continued use, so it’s not a couch for longevity. But it’s very comfy for what it is, if you like a couch with some firmness to it. I’ll sleep on it sometimes because of how comfortable it can be for my back.

I bought the “mustard” colored couch. It is more of a goldyellow color than a true mustard. I knew this based on customer reviews (thanks y’all!). It is a lovely color and I love how it looks against my blue wall. This couch is extremely hard. Basically feels like a futon except possibly harder Thankfully that is not a huge concern for me personally but some people might want to avoid this “couch” for that reason. I am glad I got this on clearance and only paid about 200 because I’m not sure it’s worth more than that. I was able to assemble this couch myself in under an hour. The assembly is mostly done with an Allen wrench.. which can be time consuming. The arm sides are held to the couch with bolts and your given a tiny thin wrench to tighten them with. It was very difficult given the small amount of working space and I wasn’t able to get them as tight as I would like. Hopefully it stays together! lol. Despite all of this, this price point and what I got was perfect for what I was looking for. My cats destroyed my last 800 couch in under 3 years. I didn’t want to make that mistake again. If this one doesn’t last long, at least it was only 200 and it’s more for looks than comfort for me.

great value for price. assembly was a bit tedious, but all parts fit well together. good starter couch, deep seats, firm.
