For $220, this table is generally decent but has some severe packing and structural deficiencies. The first issue is that the lower surface has had these sticky foam pieces applied to it which serve no purpose as there is other foam present that serves the same function. You have to remove these with a plastic chisel or similar (they should just be removed). The second issue is that the manufacturer was cheap with the welding. The main bracket for fastening the legs to the table is only welded on each edge and twists freely. The table as originally assembled is unstable and shaky. This could possibly be fixed by welding the entire bracket to the legs (see picture), but otherwise I've had to attach third party corner brackets which don't quite match the table dimensions. I'll probably modify these further to be more flush but a $200 coffee table should not require so much effort to assemble properly. I gave 2 stars because the wood surface is as advertised and looks nice, although it has a waxy look and I would have preferred a little thicker gloss/lacquer finish (maybe I'll refinish it as well...). The tabletop itself and the steel legs are sturdy separately, just not together...

So easy to put together! The top is a beautiful “raw” wood. Love the rustic simplicity. Very sturdy!
