The Laroche Double Dresser by Birch Lane is incredibly well built with solid, smooth-gliding drawers. There’s just something about solid oak material that gives it a timeless, sturdy feel. The only issue I ran into was one drawer handle having cross-threaded hardware, but I was able to fix it with a couple of washers. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

The color is pretty much as pictured on the website. The dresser is well constructed but I have 2 points of critique: the drawers do not open all the way, which I understand is an anti-tipping measure; the drawers do not close all the way without some force, which can make the drawers look askew. Other than that, I think the dresser is priced pretty well and worth the purchase.
