I specifically bought these nightstands because it indicated that they are made out of plastic. I was looking for a product that would not grow mold. Two of the pieces arrived bent and felt like cardboard's durability. I can push my fingernail through the material. This is not plastic. I have book covers and cardboard boxes that are more resistant to touch and pressure than these are. They are also covered in a white powder.
