Now that it’s together it looks fine though a bit cheap. The stain was to be espresso but it was quite purple and in direct sunlight is obvious. Color chips off easily and the veneer piece across the front is already coming unglued. The hinges are impossible to screw in as instructed, we had to take apart the top back (which was connected in step one) in order to reach the screws.. There are no pre drilled holes for the safety lever (flap fitting) and once installed is a bit fussy to get the lid to lay flat. The way the cushion was packed left a large indent in the foam.

Sturdy, really cute and firm cushion. It's cuter in real life than the picture shows.

It’s but sturdy, very low profile. Cushion is chintzy and not attractive.

Assembling was more difficult because the directions were not good. I needed to unassembled to reassembled several times to make all parts to fit.

Easy to put together and looks great on the area we chose for it.
