Could not use all 9 shelves without drilling more holes, and then 3 of the shelves barely fit CDs.

What I like is that there are pin holes from top to bottom so you can put a shelf anywhere. Some products only give you a few pin holes for the pins that hold up the shelves. With pin holes from top to bottom you can make any size shelf in height you choose to.
