This is a very substantial set. The chairs and table are heavy. Assembled, it is rock solid. All the pieces were well packed, and there were no marks or scratches on them. Assembly took about 2.5 hours with most of that for the chairs. The directions were pretty good, but don't always alert you to easy mistakes. Hardware included the two wrenches you'll need, but you'll need to provide a Phillips-head screw driver.
