These stools are beautiful, they arrived in pristine condition. BUT... these stools have a warning on them that says "This product can expose you to chemicals including Lead and Lead Compounds, which are known to the State of California (REALLY HOW ABOUT EVERYONE!?!?!) to cause CANCER OR BIRTH DEFECTS OR OTHER REPRODUCTIVE HARM. This information is not explicitly stated on the California site on this product. BUYER BEWARE!
