Pierrot Daybed with Two Drawers, Shelves and Slats

It is ok. The drawers are not the easiest to open and rollout on carpet. Assembly was a disaster, they never showed up and I had to wait 48 hours before they could reschedule somebody.

Great bed, very sturdy and good quality wood. Although it took WAY longer than predicted to put together - 3hrs for a professional installer. My guess is it would've taken 4hrs for two people together. But my son loves it. It had a chemical smell for the first day but it dissipated.

The worst aspect is the smell from the off-gassing. It would have been nice if the warning on the frame - about the arsenic contained in the material - had been stated in the online product description. The support system for under the mattress isn't very strong but I do like the extra support pieces that are added (an added bunkie board takes care of that issue). The assembly instructions are poor, though, for assembling that extra support. The edges are sharp - especially the corners where one's thigh could crash into the bedframe.

It’s a cute bed, not as sturdy as I like however my daughter loves it! It looks really good in her 13 year old room!! If you are looking for something that is cute and for a delicate kid!!

Once the bed is together it looks fine. Just a warning the the drawers are on wheels and not in anyway attached to the bed, so they roll around quite a bit. Also, the instructions to assemble this had a number of errors and I had to figure out what the correct step or piece was. Some of the predrilled holes also did not match up correctly. Because of that it took about 4 hours to put together.
