Love this bed! The look, the quality, the ease of assembly. It’s exactly what I needed for our new coastal condo!

Beautiful bed! Like many others have said, you definitely want a boxspring. We tried the one we had but it was too tall so we ordered a low profile boxspring.

This bed takes two people to put together. It doesn't have enough slats to be called a platform bed, you need a box spring. I was lucky enough to have some slats from another bed I owned. Also the bolts that have to be loosened to put the footboard on are almost impossible to loosen without the proper tools. Once together it's very lovely but I can see how careful I have to be when putting on sheets that the bed could easily be damaged.

Nice looking bed. Seems to hold up without a box spring but my husband and I are little people. The instructions are poor and printed in micro but easy to assemble in any event. It does require 2 people and more than the 10 minutes the instructions stated.
