Harper 60"W Solid Wood Mid-Century 2-Door Sideboard Buffet with 3 Drawers

We are pleased with the product. Since the sideboard is made out of solid wood, it has a quality that manufactured wood is lacking. It was well packed and there were no missing parts and no damage. It took about three hours to put together and the instructions were clear and easy to follow.

The sideboard is great. It was easy to put together. It took a few hours. It is very sturdy. It matches the plate rack a friend made well.

I had a hard time rating this unit. Overall the cabinet seems fairly sturdy and well made except for the back of the cabinet. That really needs to be addressed and makes the cabinet look very cheap. The back consists of 2 pieces of some type of extremely flimsy wood byproduct that is supposed to be joined together by a strip of yellowish coloured plastic. Because the product itself is flimsy it doesn’t lay flat. To make matters worse, the plastic piece doesn’t even cover the length of the cabinet so from the inside you can see through a gap on each end. A very poor backing to say the least. It takes a decent cabinet and really cheapens it. I went out and bought a piece of hardwood and had it cut to fit the exact opening at the back, stained it and attached with some small finish nails. That made a tremendous difference in the appearance. Once assembled the cabinet looks quite nice but I feel it is going to scratch very easily. I gave it 3 stars due to the issues I mentioned with the backing and the fact that I am unsure how it will hold up over time. A bit over priced when you take these issues into consideration. I do very much like the style of the cabinet though. It looks very sleek and modern.

Beautiful piece of furniture. Solid wood and very well made. It was packaged very well and delivered in perfect condition. I absolutely love it! Exactly what I was looking for.
