Glad it was for my kids and not me. Very heavy to move once put together, but works

My daughter bought this year's ago and love it. Moved it to a spare bedroom now because she got a king but it will be used for year's more. Solid heavy piece

Excellent for my teen son, and in a bedroom that doesn't have a proper closet, the boxes work great for storage and I bought extra boxes. Unfortunately, as the bed's side is against the wall, we only have access to one side of storage, and what's at the foot of the bed, so it's better than nothing.

Setup took some time but overall pretty self explanatory. Love the way it looks and very sturdy.

23yo F, moderate experience in assembling furniture I had read other reviews saying that it was wobbly, unsteady, and the mattress slides on top so in preparation I bought a carpet and non slip pads. Both helped with resolving those issues. The bed frame feels sturdy, doesn't move, and I have no issue with the mattress moving on top of it. It was still a risky buy. When checking for missing pieces I found some parts of the wood were chipped. That doesn't bother me much, nothing that wood filler and paint can't fix. What does bother me is that one of the screws was defected and there were no pre drilled holes towards the last steps of the assembly. Which was frustrating after 4 hours hard work. Additionally because I had to make new holes I also discovered that there was no place for the last plank of wood to be set on. So I had make new holes so that the pieces fit and the board could rest on it somewhat properly. And now after some weeks of usage the board is starting to sink in, meaning I need to make Additional repairs. In total it took me about 5 hours to assemble alone. If you've assembled bookshelves or other furniture before you shouldnt have an issue with this assembly, its pretty easy and symmetrical for each side. One last comment I'd make on it, and I saw no reviews prior talking about it, but this bed frame is HEAVY. Assemble it in the place you plan to have it because once assembled, even if you have help, it's way too heavy and you run the risk of damaging it in the move. I love the organizational space and even though it does feel sturdy and it serves its function- for the price, its a lot of work and the wood does damage easily. I tried looking for better but it either didn't exist or was out of my price range. If you are in that same predicament but can afford this bed frame, as long as you are willing to work with it and your handy with repairs I'd say it's a solid investment. If that sounds like too much of a hassle then my advice is to be patient and save up for something else.
