Sorry to say the bed was badly damaged Wayfair customer service was very kind and helpful and is taken care of everything for me and is credited me the price of the bed I would have taken a replacement but there are no more so now Ill search for another but I would not go shopping anywhere else but Wayfair

Beautiful bed. Very solid. We got the oak finish and love it. it did take a little while to put together. I wish I would've purchased the option to have Wayfair build it. It's also very heavy, solid wood. Not a bad thing, just need muscle to get it upstairs.

This bed is beautiful! It’s super sturdy and solid! My husband and I were able to get in together in less than an hour.

The bed arrived in a reasonable amount of time and the delivery company even brought the boxes into the house instead of leaving them in the driveway. This bed is well built out of solid wood. I got the king size and it came in 4 boxes. I was able to move the boxes by myself into the bedroom for assembly, but I recommend using 2 people due to the weight. Additionally, I recommend having another person to help with assembly. You will want to start with the biggest box, which will be the headboard. The assembly and instructions are easy to follow, it is just a bit cumbersome due to the size and weight. Next, open the box with the footboard and assemble it. Finally, open the remaining (matching) boxes that contain the rails. I positioned the headboard leaning against the wall and had my helper hold the footboard in position while I set the side rails. I only tightened one bolt at each corner to get both rails on. Once both rails were attached, I went back to each corner to tighten the remaining bolts. The final parts to install are the slats that support the mattress and/or box springs. The directions call for a screwdriver, and while that will work, it would take a long time due to the number of screws required to secure the slats to the rails. Use a cordless drill with a #2 Phillips bit and it will save you a great deal of time and possibly a sore wrist. All in all, the bed took roughly an hour to assemble and that included unpacking everything. This is a very well packaged bed and should arrive in great condition. The quality of build, solid wood and fasteners make me believe this bed will last a lifetime. We selected the gray colored bed and it looks great with our darker hardwood floors. If you have hardwood floors, the posts on the bed have plastic bottom buttons to protect the floor. I would definitely get this bed again! It is much nicer than a lot of what I have seen selling for double the price.
