Solid bed frame, I assembled it solo but parts might need a second person for someone less physically capable than a reasonably fit 40 year old guy. The mattress I put on it is heavier than it was designed for, so it's difficult to lift to access the under compartment. I don't think I saw any limit on mattress weigh on the description.. This is great. Seems structurally stable. Easy to put together. Two complaints. The silver metal bolts are visible on the outside of the posts, so I’m spray painting those to match the frame. The bigger complaint is that the mattress slides. The bottom rails are smooth and flush. there’s no recessed area for the mattress to sit in to keep it in place. A made-in-the-USA, heavy-duty bed frame that will fit full (double), queen, and king(eastern king) bedding. This is a headboard-only frame and will not accommodate a footboard. This frame requires the use of a foundation or box spring. This heavy-duty frame has six (6) legs that utilize our uniquely designed glides. The frame using these glides has been tested with a 2000-pound load. Guaranteeing the structural integrity of the part is perfectly consistent from one part to the next. The glides are stronger than a wheel while maintaining the same or better mobility. These glides are safe on all flooring surfaces. They will not mark or scuff a wood floor like wheels. The 2-inch wide centre support on this frame is used head-to-toe on the king and full sizes. It can be used either head-to-toe or side-to-side on a queen size. This makes it perfect for split queen foundations. This frame sits approximately 7 1/2" off the floor. If no headboard is used, the headboard brackets can be left off and the bed centred on the frame, assuring that the frame cannot bump and damage the wall. All tools are included for a simple, quick, trouble-free assembly process. This frame uses our Instamatic assembly. This is a keyhole/riveted design that allows the frame to be set up and locked together without the use of tools and hardware. Headboard brackets are included and must be bolted onto the frame to ensure maximum adjustability to fit all designs of headboards. The headboard brackets are adjustable in both height and width and have 2 1/2" and 4"-hole centers. All hardware and tools required for mounting the frame to a headboard are included. The steel in this frame is a high strength, high carbon, hot-rolled steel. It is 100% average of 97% recycled material, which makes this frame a heavy-duty, environmentally friendly product.
