I've been sleeping on this bed since December, and 2 months later, my back is killing me. I thought it was my mattress so I bought a new one. Today, i discovered that the slats that support the mattress are sagging (they're made of balsa wood) in the middle because the slat supports are not continuous. Really disappointing. Now I have to go buy plywood.

Love this bed! Exactly what I had been looking for - a raised platform with room for storage underneath. I like the curved headboard also, perfect for sitting in bed watching tv or reading. Have to give a shout-out to the young gentleman, Messiah, that assembled it. Very professional service, excellent communication keeping me informed, and probably would have taken me all day to do it. Worth every cent.
