Amberlie Modern Upholstered Adjustable-Height Barstool with Footrest

The stools look nice and the seat itself is fine, but the footrests are extremely uncomfortable. They are made of hard, thin, rectangular metal, and they actually hurt your feet instead of giving them a place to rest. For something called a footrest, the design is surprisingly harsh and makes the stools uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. I spent a long time looking for the right stools, so this was very disappointing.

Absolutely love these chairs!

Assembly was easy enough, as this item shipped flat. It’s the perfect height for our kitchen bar counter, but with height adjustment, there’s still room for other uses and heights. Visually, it’s lighter than I expected, but works fine for because our other furniture is also around the same shade of gray. Only think I don’t like is how the material of the seat cover bunches up in certain places. For reference, we ordered charcoal for the upholstery.

Good quality and comfortable, the barstools seem sturdy. I originally thought these were a vinyl upholstery but they turned out to be fabric. I just hope they don’t soil too easily or show soil stains and hold up to everyday use.
