I was doubtful of this purchase because I had looked high and low for the "perfect" TV stand for my 55" tv. I wanted a modern piece that brought warmth to my otherwise cold living room. I looked for MONTHS, and I am so happy I waited. This is the perfect piece. I love it! It was pretty darn heavy, so I had to get my brother-in-law to help bring it up from the mailroom. I also needed his assistance in putting it together. The drawers were easy to put together, and if you position the stand in the right place, you can do it by yourself. Once the bottom piece was on, you can slide it around with EASE. I have zero regrets and only good things to say about this purchase. I love how it looks, and it appears more expensive than it is. It's not a cheap unit.
