Douai Storage Bookcase with LED Lighting (Set of 2)

This is a really nice bookcase however, it did take my husband and myself six hours to put the two units together. That seems like a lot of time considering the fact that my husband is a woodworker and does this type of work all the time. I would have given this five stars however we were missing one of the drawer fronts and have been told that the replacement part has shipped but to date it’s 1 week past the estimated delivery date and the tracking information comes up with an error message. We were also told that the manufacture would contact us via email that has not happened. Still waiting….. 042524. Update 1, well after 4 weeks we have received a package of replacement parts but they are the wrong parts so Ive been given another replacement order to wait for. All I need is the middle drawer front part P2 is this asking too much Im now 7 weeks out from my original order date. 052424. Update 2, well after 7 weeks we have received a package of replacement parts and again they are the wrong parts so I’ve been given another replacement order to wait for. If this is beginning to sound like I’m repeating myself….I am. I’ve again asked for part P2 but they have again sent me Q2. So I now have for the 3 Q2 parts that I don’t need. 060524 Update 3, it’s almost been another 2 weeks with no notification of the parts being shipped so I’m calling again.

I really like Wayfair products but this does not stand up to Wayfair quality. I assemble a lot of furniture (adult LEGO building kits!) but these were the worst I’ve experienced. The cam locks wouldn’t fit properly in the holes and pieces were warped and cracked when moved to align with the holes. Assembled the crossbeams between drawers were warped and didn’t align with the drawers, the drawers don’t open or close smoothly and definitely two hands each time you want to open or close them. Also they don’t open all the way, so although you can technically fit files in the bottom drawer, because it doesn’t open all the way, you can’t actually get the files in or out. Several pieces came damaged (scratched and/or cracked). Wayfair customer service (as usual) was great. They sent replacement parts, but these bookshelves are so cheaply made, we sent them back in the end. (Wayfair makes you disassemble them and repackage them). Save your time and pay a little more for higher quality. These are just not worth it.

I ordered these shelves for my living room. They are so nice. I really liked the shelves but I measured wrong and they were too big for my living room. Sadly I have to return them.
