Table top does not wear well. You meed to use very thick placemats under hot dishes

This was a great purchase for us. We needed a smaller table now that the children are gone and the counter height table is perfect for our eating options (standing up or sitting down). This set is very sturdy and it is beautiful in our space. We have hardwood floors so we bought a 7x7 round rug to put under the table and chairs. A perfect fit. We love the look and attention to detail on this furniture. Simple yet beautiful. Great quality. Easy to assemble. My husband did it himself. Highly recommend this product.
