This thing was easy to put together, even for a single girly who could not hang her own curtain rods the pre-drilled holes did not always align perfectly example, one side has a little overhang while the other sits flush, and the outlet itself is crooked. The outlet always drives me crazy because it is upside down. The cord just sits inside the open space, and then goes through the back. I considered swapping it to the other side and having the outlet on the inside and the cord exiting off the side, but maybe another day. The magnet on the cubby hole is way too strong, you must should the nightstand with one hand to open or you will just move the whole thing. Not a one-handed operation while laying in bed at night. Last note, they did not include any of those sticker circles to cover the screw heads and metal pieces - not a big deal, but it’s like the only piece I’ve ever bought that didn’t have them. For the price point, I give it a solid C

It’s the perfect size, for a small lamp, and the covered shelf is easy to access, and secure my IPad, and books out of view.
