Johnte Full-Size Futon Frame and Full-Size Innerspring Mattress

This futon is exactly as shown and is a great quality piece for the price. All the pieces were there in individually marked cardboard boxes and the boards were wrapped to keep them from being scuffed. Everything was well marked, along with clear illustrations. It was quite impressive compared to many products these days that you have to assemble.I like that the support boards were pre-strapped together. It took my husband and son about an hour, no issues. The (full)size is great for our small spare room. The mattress is very firm but thick is as noted by others and just the color it is shown. It sits slightly higher than the back of the frame but thats so that it will fit the entire surface when it is converted to a bed- and it doesnt affect the feeling when sitting on it. The one slightly negative thing I might mention is that this isnt a couch I would sit on for long periods as the back/bottom angle is noticeable if you have lower back issues. Others probably wouldnt be bothered by it. All in all, we are very pleased with this futon.

Once together, you have a traditional futon that is sturdy, comfortable, and works as it should. Assembly wasn't overly difficult and the instructions were clear. I did have to watch part of the manufacturer's how-to video to figure out how best to lay the bed slats into the frame proper. The key is to lay it flat and get assistance from a 2nd person. Also, the 8 screws in the frame need to remain loose until that stage and only tighten them after the slats are slipped into place. In summary, I'm very happy with my purchase and am pleased it took only about 3 hours to fully assemble.

The futon was delivered promptly as advised by the emails sent in routing. The instructions and the video made it easy to put together. The mattress is comfortable. This futon is perfect for an extra bed for guests and a couch for everyday.

The off gassing on the couch was awful. Literally couldn't use it for several weeks because of the intense chemical smells emitted from the cushion.

Hate it ! Cheap thin wood, easy to assemble but not worth the cost at all. The mattress is so stiff you can’t even set up the futon it has to lay flat. Worst purchase of furniture I have made in a long time and I do not recommend. If it wasn’t now assembled I would send it back.
