Its a beautiful piece but the shelves are not aligned. It looks like the middle piece was put in upside down causing the misalignment. I didnt realize this until I got it upstairs and at that point I just couldnt bring it back down. I had waited over two months to get this and didnt want to wait two more. Ended up using some felt pads that you put under chairs to align each shelf.

Not sure when or by whom the unit was damaged, but it arrived damaged. The delivery crew did not help set up or take away packaging, if so, we could have noted the damage with them. Shelves stored in unit with nailed in blocks, resulting in permanent holes in unit. We like the item, just wish it had been packaged and handled better.

I was very disappointed to find that the shelving was secured for shipping by nailing a temporary block to to the top of the shelf which left holes in the finished part of the shelf. See attached photo. This is completely unacceptable.

Excellent book shelf. Substantial and well put together.

I really like this bookcase - it is a more transitional style, pretty color and great quality!
