Product is not as described. Even after 12 inch mattress the gap is too big between backside and mattress. Big enough that small babies can fall . No description says that it will need a mattress box needed for that .

Bedframe was purchased with assembly and unfortunately, the assembly was delayed due to delivery delays, and assembly cost has now been increased due to scheduled assembly, which is from a third party company, not being able to be rescheduled. The hired assemblyman came the day Wayfair’s delivery was scheduled to arrive but nothing was ever delivered and now the assembly cannot be rescheduled. The refund will not cover the new assembly appointment in full, costing me more money due to Wayfair’s delivery delays! I will not recommend ever purchasing assembly with any order due to communication between both companies being subpar and disconnected whenever there are delays in delivery.

We love this bed. But let me tell you, it is a lot of pieces, and the $85 assembly fee was worth every penny. The LED light changes colors, in case you just want something dim for getting settled in bed and maybe doing some light reading or phone surfing. The headboard is padded, and the storage door below have wheels on the bottom to make them easy to roll on our vinyl plank flooring. It would’ve been nice to have actual bottoms in the drawers or at least liners so that we don’t have to worry about things falling through the gaps and possibly getting in the way of the wheels that move the drawers in and out from under the bed. The other problem we encountered, which not everyone will have a problem with, is that our mattress is taller than average, so we don’t have easy access to the hidden compartment in the headboard because it can’t out toward the mattress because the mattress is too tall to let it move. But still, it would be a good place for keeping things that you don’t need very often, maybe a few of your favorite books. Outlet/charging station on the top is a nice bonus. Overall great price, not quite as good once you paid for the assembly, but it would’ve taken us a full day to assemble as a couple.
