Prettier color than I expected. A little more brown undertones than are shown in the picture. The grain is prominent but not overwhelming. Looks more expensive than it is. Buuuuuuutttt, installation was a no go. The dowels did not line up, neither did the screw holes. We like it enough that we will keep it and do some rigging, but just be aware.

I really wanted to love this as a coffee table, it's just not sturdy enough. If someone went to put their feet up on it or put any pressure on a side of the table the other half will lift. It's cool that it can be changed into a kitchen table, didn't know about that feature, but that's not what we're using it for. I'm returning.
