I bought the Kinston Steel Hall Tree with Bench and Shoe Storage from Wayfair for the area next to my stairs by the front door, and it ended up being the perfect size for that space. coat rack and some shelves, and shoes always seemed to pile up around the door no matter what I did. The shelves honestly just created more clutter than they solved. Now everything has a place and the entryway looks a lot cleaner without feeling crowded.
