Classic understated elegance. This piece was a perfect addition to our home library and beautifully compliments the mahogany bookcases and leather wing chairs. The size is just right for the cozy 12x12 room and the height is very comfortable for a long game of chess. The chess board insert fits our standard size chess pieces nicely. It was very well protected during shipping and arrived in excellent condition. It was easy to attach the legs and drop in the chessboard. This has already become a favorite piece of furniture..
