Good and solid wood console table, true to the product photos. The wood grain on the top surface looks like it has a different finish than the under side or something and doesn't look as nice though. Solid wood top and shelf with surprisingly good quality table structure. Only disappointed by the wood color. We ordered “warm walnut” but it looked more like redwood when it arrived and it had a rough, grained surface on the tops. Given that the tops were solid, I actually sanded both the top and shelf smooth and then refinished them with Danish oil.
