The backrests also have compartments to store sheets and pillows making them convenient to set up. The bed frame is constructed of steel tubes and supports an independent left and right-side mattress base which provides good ( and very comfortable ) sleeping posture and support. The mattress is made out of a solid piece of polyurethane foam covered with a removable and washable cover for the best hygiene. Transforming the bed to a sofa is a matter of a lift and push that un-tumbles the bed internally into the sofa frame. For ease of transport and manoeuvring in tight spaces. This sofa bed is shipped in 2 pieces with the arms in a separate package. Putting it together is a matter of sliding the arms into the keyway, no tools are required. If in case of space is a concern, the front and back panels can be easily removed and installed without much effort.

Love the couch but the person that wrapped the cushions made it way too tight. It left impression in the seating and headrests. I massaged them over and over for a couple wks and could not get the foam to rebound. I love the design, the colour and the fit in my room. It's a little firmer than I thought it would be but I like it. It had no instructions on putting it together, it had no tools that came with it, but it wasn't too difficult. You definitely must have power tools though as there are no pilot holes anywhere and you are screwing into hardwood. Installing the back was difficult on my own, but again, I managed.
