This lovely Console Table is a hand-built solid walnut table featuring two generous drawers and black steel hardware and base. This Asian-inspired design adds a unique and subtle design twist to any interior. The slim 13" deep console table is at home in an entryway, a hallway, or behind a sofa and perfect for small spaces.

I looked for a year for a console that was a mixture of wood and metal but also slim-lined for my narrow hallway. This is perfect and beautifully made. The wooden upper portion is completely walnut - no plastic or MDF - even the drawer slides are walnut. The drawers fit immaculately into the case - flush with the frame and no gaps at all. Everything was well protected for shipping - not a mark on anything when I unpacked. Just beware that there are no pre-drilled holes in the base of the cabinet in order to attach to the metal legs. I was afraid that screwing it into the legs would crack the wood so I marked the screw holes first and pre-drilled small pilot holes before actually screwing the top onto the base. The only drawback is the price, which I find to be rather high for a relatively simple piece. But it's good quality, well made, fits my space perfectly and know I'll enjoy it for years.. Anne.
