Im really impressed with this set. The color is nice more charcoal gray then black. The stools are comfy. It fits perfectly in the space I wanted to use it in. Large table top is perfect for preparing meals or displaying a vase of romantic roses. Set ingredients on the countertop and prepare recipes with mixing bowl, cutting board and vegetables. Really beautiful and high quality. Even better than expected. Perfect size for a smaller space, especially because the stools can tuck easily under the table. I would give this 4.5 stars though if I could because this was not at all easy to put together. It wasn’t difficult as in complicated, it was difficult as in physically challenging. There are holes on the underside of the stools and table and you have to put wood glue (included) on the ends of the legs and shove them into the holes. This was not easy. You need to hit them really hard with a mallet to get them in. But even with the mallet I wasn’t able to get some of them completely in, and I didn’t want to keep smacking the wood, as it was starting to dent and warp it. It looks great, but it’s a little uneven because of this issue, so I have to find a workaround so that the table and stools don’t rock. when you sit on them.. Brooke. Pennsylvania. Tue Mar 18 2025
