Easy to assemble, solid wood. The drawers are a bit hard to open so subtracted a star for that, but I am using it as a nightstand / make-up vanity next to my bed. I had a very specific sizing requirement, and this was the best option for the quality. We have an adjustable base, so the taller height makes is much more functional.
