This is a beautiful table and the wood is heavy and well made. However, the glass top is very thin and teeters on the base. It arrived and within minutes, the top fell and shattered. We had a thicker glass top made. It was worth it. The wood base is striking but you may want to be prepared to replace the top piece of glass or find a way to secure it.
