I have always hated sitting on our futon because it was so uncomfortable. This mattress is the second replacement mattress and we like it better than the original. One of the best purchases I've made in years. We ditched our old sofa and went with two overstuffed comfy chairs for a time, but yearned to have something upon which one could get horizontal. That, plus having the occasional friend drop by to our two-bedroom apartment, made a futon a good choice. It is stylish and the quality (solid wood and study hardware) worth every cent. But the really great thing was the ease with which we were able to set it up. A QR code video on YouTube walked us right through to the end. And just when we were in awe at the quality of packaging, the various pieces of hardware were in moldings on cardboard instead of jumbled into a baggie. Amazing piece of customer service!
