This dining table has a light, weathered look that brings tons of coastal farmhouse charm to your kitchen or breakfast nook. It's crafted from a blend of solid and engineered wood with natural wood grain that reminds us of driftwood along the ocean shore. The fixed table has a pedestal base for a classic look and a black bar around its surface for a rich colour contrast. It also easily seats up to six people for happy hour or a casual weeknight meal with your family. But the best part? All the tools you need are included for fuss-free upkeep.
Beautiful round table that serves as our breakfast / lunch table for coming and going. I liked the farmhouse style and the table itself is connected through a series of long machine bolts which feel stable. Even has built in adjustable leveling feet. The color of the wood grain is exactly as seen in the picture.
While I love the table, I docked a star bc the top isn't sealed at all. This meant within a few days our kids had managed to smear every manner of strawberries, avocado, peanut butter etc into the finish leaving small stains. I assume the manufacturer was going for a full on rustic look bc the wood is also slightly rough (like it was sanded with 80 grit and then stopped) but its not practical for people with small kids.
I moved the table into our garage and lightly sanded the top down from 220 - 320 grit then sealed the entire table with Minwax Polycrylic (matte finish) and it looks outstanding. The table gained a slight bit of warmth without changing color and now it'll be stain and spill proof for years. The project took me probably 2 hours total on a weekend (not counting dry time for 3 light coats of poly).
If you don't have kids at home this table would be great as is. With messy eaters around, I wouldn't recommend it unless you go about sealing the surface. It's a small cost to protect the hundreds you're spending on a table and looks nicer as a finished project imo.. Chris. Irving, TX. Sun Jun 29 2025
