Item arrived in a timely manner no damage, but it’s a lot to put together. Instructions were pretty clear, but you really have to pay attention to the pictures to make sure you’ve got the parts oriented, correctly when you have it mounted to the bedframe it feels a little flimsy, but it does look nice when it’s all done. I was able to build this headboard just by myself but having an extra pair of hands would have been helpful. Love the look of it with my bed, the entire headboard and by extension the shelving is pretty shallow narrow (5 and 1/2 inches) which totally worked for my bedroom space. Because I was building it by myself, after applying the LED light strip, the power unit section of the strip somehow snapped off which was a bit of a bummer. I guess it's more fragile than it looked.
