Relatively easy to put together. One screw didn't catch in a bolt properly and we discovered a staple mashed inside the bolt. Once we removed that the rest went together well. It looks great on the deck and is comfortable. We are shorter people and the chairs work well for us. I don't know how well this furniture would work for a very tall person or a wider bodied individual.
