Actually love this chair, its super comfortable and love the height. So assembly went super smooth. Put the rod into the base and screw on the chair to the rod. That simple, as for sturdneess Im not sure how long this will last from me rocking on it when I shouldnt be. As you see it can rock, their is no screw that secure the rod to the base.
