The price and quality of the tub could not be beat. After several issues with ordering - which were quickly resolved by Wayfair's customer service team- I was satisfied with knowing the tub would arrive in one piece when my builder needed it. We plan to use it in our new house/master bath. The delivery was a bit sketchy - top was disheveled/loose - but the product was not harmed on the inside.

We just installed this into our new construction home. I literally designed and changed my entire master suite layout around this tub. It is beautiful and makes quite a statement however upon my very first use(s) of tub, I discovered the serious design flaw with the drain being in the center of the tub. While you can sit in the tub, if you try to lower your body and slide deeper into the water or length of the tub, your 'bottom' HITS THE DRAIN. ITS LOCATED EXACTLY WHERE YOUR TAIL BONE IS. Not only does it cause the drain to pop up and drain the water, if you manage to avoid it releasing the water, it rubs on your backside in a very uncomfortable manner. I am a major bathtub user and find this tub nearly un-usable. I cannot say how disappointed and angry I am re-designed my entire master suite around this very expensive tub. AMERICAN STANDARD ENGINEERS - please take heed of this. I CANNOT RECOMMEND IF YOU REALLY USE A TUB FOR BATHING
