We needed to replace our current cartridge in our kids bathrooms. This was the perfect fit and just what we needed.

This part did the trick

I bought a Delta Model:R10000-UNWSHF rough in valve and a cartridge P46463. The cartridge is leaking between the geared black water volume control part and the main gray body part.. Water is also leaking between the geared black volume control part and white nylon temperature control part (the part that accepts the metal screw.) When the water control lever is in the off position no water leaks. As soon as the water is turned on water leaks out of the aforementioned. parts? This is a new cartridge. What am I doing wrong of is this cartridge defective?
