I got these to use on a dresser I refinished. I was so happy when I got initially got them and was so close to giving 5 stars, then one of them completely crumbled and fell apart when it was half way screwed in, and is now completely stuck on the dresser. I've tried everything myself, my husband, and AI can think of to get it off, and now I bought a hack saw so try and saw it off. I would appreciate a collective fingers crossed that I can get this thing removed. The others are all perfect, so I must have just been really unlucky to get a dud. If you buy these, test each one before you actually screw it in and save yourself the headache.
