I ordered these beams for my living room that has cathedral ceilings. Big room with not much character and everyone looks up because the height. I researched faux beams because I did not want to rip into my drywall to add support for real solid beams. These had the most realistic look and the sample made my decision easy. They look great. I ( all of 5'6" 110 lb of me) installed them with my "can do everything guy". I do design work and lots of hands on remodeling for myself and clients. I am not afraid of power tools and have taken on lots of big projects. I consider this find a definite score. I WILL use these again. We are building a lake home in Northern Wisconsin and these beams will be there tricking the most critical eyes.
