Really beautiful and natural color. We got the carbonized color and it’s a nice, pale, classic bamboo color. We used it as a ceiling for our small laundry room. Make sure not to get it wet or place it in a room where it might get splashed or dirty. We dripped a small amount of something on this before installing it (in the middle of a major remodel), and when I wiped it off, the space that got a little damp changed color permanently to a greenish gray color. Thankfully that portion was mostly covered by the wide cedar plank trim we used. I think the only way to clean this would be to let whatever got on it dry and then carefully scrape it off. Finally, know that it definitely needs trim around the edges as the ends of the bamboo can splinter pretty easily when bumped. But once it is installed it looks amazing! Love these! Wanted to jazz up my wall, a bit. It all started, when I decided I wanted to cover up the wallpaper seams that started looking more prominent. Went with the Walnut color, and they were beautiful out of the box, so I didnt want to paint or stain over them. Have a few left, so I might try and get a little more creative with some going in another direction. Havent gotten that far yet. They were super easy to cut, with a Japanese saw, and I opted to just use a brad nailer, without glue, if in the future I decide to change it up. I can hopefully pry them off easily.. Jennifer N.. Very impressed! These shiplap panels are great quality, real wood. Super easy to install, but I will caution, make sure it’s where you want it because the adhesive strips are no joke. I was thinking I maybe needed to reinforce with nails, but when I ripped the coating off the Sheetrock, I figured it was fine. lol they look amazing and I like that they are thinner than traditional shiplap. I put the tiles down in my bathroom. These tiles are great, super sticky and mostly easy to work with. I used a laminate cutter for the straight cuts and a jig saw for more complicated ones.
